Stephen Chedas is General Counsel to the Carpenters' Regional Council, which represents more than 60,000 members in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. He has practiced union-side labour law throughout his career, beginning with a Toronto-based labour law firm before joining the Carpenters, where he has spent the past 15 years advocating for its members in collective bargaining, arbitration and before the OLRB. In his current role, Stephen provides strategic guidance and manages the Council's legal affairs across five provinces.
