Committed to youth education and opportunity, Michael was a teacher who gave up the classroom for the courtroom. At present, he is the Chair of Skilled Trades Ontario (a Provincial Crown Agency under the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development) and sits on the board of directors of Skills Canada (Ontario) and Support Ontario Youth. Michael is a Past Executive Member of the Yves Landry Foundation, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC), and Past Corporate Chair of the LLSC’s Light The Night.
