Aminah Hanif joined Cavalluzzo in 2014 after articling with the firm. She advocates on behalf of trade union clients in a broad range of sectors, with a focus on construction. She represents construction unions in various matters, including grievances, certification applications, and related proceedings including judicial reviews and appeals. She has represented clients before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Superior Court of Justice and various tribunals in other provinces and federal jurisdiction. She also provides advice on policy issues and legislative reform.
