David J. Bannon is a labour and employment partner in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office
and Chair of the Firm’s Construction Labour Relations Practice Group. David is certified
by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Labour and Employment Law,
regularly appearing before the Ontario Labour Relations Board and private arbitrators,
the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, Provincial Offenses Court defending against
Occupational Health and Safety Act charges, the Workplace Safety and Insurance
Appeals Tribunal and the Ontario Court of Justice. David provides ongoing strategic
advice to employers in the Construction Industry. David is extensively involved in
collective bargaining in the industry, including ICI negotiations for a number of collective
agreements. He frequently speaks on a wide range of labour and health and safety
