Ontario Sheet Metal Workers’ & Roofers’ Conference

A native of Windsor, Ontario, Eric Comartin currently acts as legal counsel to the Ontario Sheet Metal Workers' and Roofers' Conference, the Employee Bargaining Agent for Sheet Metal, Siding and Roofing in Ontario. He has previously acted as General Counsel for the Canadian Construction Workers' Union and the University of Toronto Faculty Association. In private practice he has acted on behalf of trade unions, individual employees, progressive non-profit organizations and assisted on international criminal tribunal defences. Through his work on behalf of trade unions, Eric has focused much of his practice on organizing, collective bargaining and litigation before the Ontario Labour Relations Board.

Eric has an honours degree in Political Studies from Queen's University, a law degree from the University of Windsor, and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
