Lee Shouldice is a Vice-Chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Lee received his B.A. in Economics and Law (with distinction) from Carleton University in 1982, his LLB. from the University of Toronto in 1985, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987. He practiced labour and employment law until 1993, at which time he was appointed to the Board as a Vice-Chair. Lee served on the Board until 1999, at which time he joined the Labour & Employment Law Group at the law firm of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Lee became a partner at Blakes in 2000, and remained at the firm until August, 2007, when he was reappointed to the Board. Lee devotes most of his time at the Board to the adjudication of construction industry matters. He has taught courses in both labour law and employment law at George Brown College, and for many years was a contributing editor to Carswell’s Human Resources Management in Canada and Human Resources Management in Mid-Sized Firms.
