Director of Workforce Development Canada’s Building Trades Unions
Lindsay Amundsen has been with Canada’s Building Trades Unions (CBTU) since 2010. Her primary responsibilities as Director of Workforce Development with CBTU include the development and operations of ‘Build Together’, a national workforce development program focused on the recruitment and retention of workers from underrepresented portions of the population: Women, Indigenous Peoples, the Next Generation & New Canadians. Lindsay manages federally funded projects for CBTU; one being on the retention of women in trades and a project titled “Building it Green” with a focus on climate literacy in the skilled construction trades.
