Liz is a partner with Mathews Dinsdale & Clark LLP. She has been practicing exclusively in the areas of Labour and Employment Law since 1991 with a particular focus in collective bargaining negotiations, labour disputes, employee relations and human rights matters. Liz is counsel to a broad range of clients, including large multinational firms, construction companies, healthcare and broader public sector employers and charitable organizations. Liz regularly appears before adjudicative tribunals, including the OLRB, the HRTO, and grievance and interest arbitrators.
Liz has particular expertise in advising corporations and institutions with regard to the legal issues that arise in the course of corporate restructuring. She regularly advises union and non-union clients on employee discipline and termination matters, as well as on current labour and employment issues that affect their businesses. Her objective is to provide practical advice and solutions to the legal issues that arise in the workplace.
