Covid-19 Precautions
Our commitment to your safety
Vertra Forums is monitoring the latest Government safety precautions and will be continuing to work with the conference venue to implement the following guidelines for your safety and comfort. As the conference dates draw closer, the safety guidelines will be updated as new information becomes available. Registered delegates will also receive notifications about updates and reminders on safety protocols.

Fully vaccinated
As a participant, you will need to be fully vaccinated to access the conference in-person. The Government of Ontario, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, requires all conference participants to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide proof of their vaccination status for entry to the venue. More information can be found here.
Recognized medical exemptions
If you cannot receive the vaccine due to a medical exemption that has been approved by the Ontario Government, you will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note until recognized medical exemptions can be integrated as part of a vaccine certificate. Additionally, a negative COVID-19 test from no more than 48 hours before your arrival will be required as an alternative to proof of vaccination. You will need to purchase the test from a government approved Covid-19 testing provider. Your closest Ontario Covid-19 testing location can be found here.

Personal protective equipment
To enter the conference venue, all participants will be pre-screened, and are required to wear a face mask at all times. You may temporarily take off your face mask to eat and drink while seated.

Food and beverage
Pre-plated meals and pre-packaged food options will be selected in favour of self-serve buffets.

Physical distancing
Seating arrangement and reduced conference room capacity will adhere to any venue specific regulations defined by official government and local authority guidance.
Please follow all physical distancing guidance and directional signage at the conference venue. Kindly avoid congestion.

Enhanced sanitation
Our conference venue partners maintain enhanced cleaning and hygiene protocols, which includes frequent sanitization of high-touch areas with particular emphasis on restrooms and on surfaces such as door handles.
Hand sanitizing stations will be provided at key locations on-site at the conference.
Conference materials including handouts will only be made available in digital format to minimize the number of touched surfaces.
Wherever possible, participants will be asked to retain the same seat throughout the day.
